Fans will be delighted by the songwriting in 'Life With You', which demonstrates the considerable lyrical
talents that the brothers have become famous for, and which is delivered with their trademark passion. Alongside themes of
love and yearning, the Reid twins show that they are still unafraid at tackling politics: 'S.O.R.R.Y' and 'The Long Haul'
both deal with the decision to invade Iraq and the consequences of the so-called War On Terror; whilst 'In Recognition' slams
left-wing celebrities who turn their back on their principles to accept honours from the Queen; and 'Here It Comes Again'
is a mini-masterpiece, pointing out the misogyny prevalent in some forms of music. All of this is of course delivered with
the wit and deceptive simplicity which The Proclaimers have long been loved for.
