Fiona Driverâs Orkney Tune Bookâ is an outstanding publication of newly composed tunes in traditional style. The collection
reflects the recent resurgence of interest in traditional music in Orkney and highlights the work of no fewer than fifteen

I first met Fiona Driver in Shetland in 2000 and
was immediately struck by her skill as a solo fiddler â she is an excellent performer! Combine this with her love and knowledge
of fiddle music and it is no surprise that she has emerged as a leading composer. Seventy of the tunes in this collection
were penned by Fiona and you will find a wide variety of âcatchyâ original melodies.
