The Bankhead Tapes" is a musical greeting card with a difference, recorded by Bill Powrie in the 1950s with a simple home
tape recorder. Bill would then send them to friends in USA. Many years later these tapes have been unearthed. Now restored
they offer for the first time, a fascinating insight into the popular tunes of the day and stand testimony to the oustanding
talent of Bill and his famous father Will.
